Hi there

I agree that postgres is really cool and powerful.

Anyways it lacks some cool tools, as found for example in Informix
(any Informix DBA out there...?) E.G.:

- users activity (connection status, current SQL statmnt being processed, processes info for each user, and so on...)
- shared memory and sockets info
- performance info, database activity, pages read, pages written, lock info, and stuff

Is there any kind of such tools available for postgres?

There is apparently a project to do exactly that, at http://gborg.postgresql.org/project...projdisplay.php

It is only at version .55, but it looks pretty good already.
