Issue with WAL recovery in windows

Issue with WAL recovery in windows

Hello every one,

I am running Postgres 8.2 on Windows. I was trying to use WAL for archive and recovery. I followed the instructions giving in following link.

PostgreSQL Point-in-time Recovery (Incremental Backup)

I am able to archive WAL. When i reverted back to the older copy of data directory, i was able to start the service but on opening pgAdmin III it is telling that the "Server doesn't listen"... any idea what has gone wrong? I had checked that the service is running
