    how to move a db?


    - case
    I have two PG win32 server, one at my office and one at my home.
    - Q: how can I transport and then atach my db from home to office and from office to home?
    - Q: where can I find a a free win32 native port of PG server?

    To move a database look at the utility pg_dump. It will extract the contents of your database into one file.

    Unfortunately a native, free Win32 Postgres has been pushed back to version 7.5 (the next full release). You can find more info about installing Postgres under windows with cygwin at the link below
