Pg_log directory not created while initializing cluster in the installation

    Hi guys,

i installed the postgres9.2 on linux Centos.
    The steps are

    1.yum install postgresql92 postgresql92-server postgresql92-contrib

    2.initialize cluster with intidb command
    su - postgres -c /usr/pgsql-9.2/bin/initdb

The Problem is i did not find pg_log directory in /var/lib/pgsql/9.2/data/

As the pg_log directory contains all the logs, missing in the specified location causes anxious to me.
    Thanks in advance

And that didn't create a log directory?

How did you start the server?
