PL/pgsql

Hi All,

I am a new entrant to this forum. Recently I was asked to have a thorough knowledge of PostgreSQL database. I could gather information and successfully installed the database server for Windows environment (ie., CYGWIN). Today while going through the documentation, came accross of adding PL/pgsql to the database. I tried to locate the required file "plpgsql.so" as it was conveyed that the default path will be /usr/local/pgsql/lib but could not be traced out.

During setup of CYGWIN, it directly downloaded the tar files and installed the same on the machine. I tried once again to locate the specified package during setup.

In this regard, how can i proceed further and add the PL/pgsql to the database.

Any help will be worth for my learnings.
