Postgres thows error while installing

While trying to install postgres in my system it throws a error "problem running post-install step.Installation may not complete successfully. Failed to start the database server". The error throws when trying to install in the default location (Programfiles\postgres.....). If i try to install in a different location it installs successfully.

Kindly help me out, becoz i need to install it in the default location.
