PostgreSQL and SSL
just wondering if PostgreSQL itself has SSL support or could be setup with SSL so that encripted connectins could be made directly to it

they talk about openSSL needing to be installed on both the client and the server .
what if the server is a postgres server and the client is just a Java SWT application ? Can i use Javas SSL client methods to connect to it ? |
