PostgreSQL for newbies

I've hear a lot of good things about PostgreSQL. I am coming from MySQL, but want to try out PostGreSQL. I am not sure where to start off though. Can someone please point me and all newbies to a good starting off point.

Manuals, tutorials, etc... Especially some "how to setup" kind of material.

You might look into buying one or more of the books listed on PostgreSQL's website, too.

In addition, spend some time at:

http://archives.postgresql.org/ (fast searching through several years of list archives)

http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=4343 (one of the few non-fluff tutorials on PHP and PostgreSQL)

And finally, my favorite book on PostgreSQL: "PostgreSQL Developer's Handbook", by Geschwinde and Schoenig.
