Accessing the protected Windows History folder
I was just wondering if it was possible to access the hidden and protected windows folder - "History" using .NET and specifically C#?
The folder would be located at:-
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\History
where USERNAME is your own username for the machine.
Ideally I would like to be able to browse it much like any other directory, however i fear that is not possible due to Microsoft trying to stop people writing code to exploit peoples surfing habits ;) - yeah ok Pr0n at work!
If you can think of a way, i would appreciate a reply - if this is something really impossible, or obvious i appologise in advance, i am a Java and C guy by trade. I am just starting to look at .NET as and when it might be required for projects.
Thanks in advance,
