What are some very basic programs I can write to get started learning C#?
I bought a book on the C# programming language but it is just not making sense to me yet. I need to do examples to learn. I am definetly someone who learns by doing, not reading.
Could someone with experience give me lets say 5 programming exercises for a begginer which progessivley get harder?
Or maybe some kind of online tutorial for begginers. Anything!

As stupid as it may sound, write a program to display "hello world". You'll learn the necessary structure of a program and basic use of your compiler/linker/file system/shell.
[/code] are essential for python code and Makefiles!
