Borland C++ Edit Box Question
Im making a simple math game for children for an assignment. The program generates two numbers and the student has to type in the correct answer. I have an edit box for the answer to be typed in and a mark button beside it.
Is there any way to display an error message if nothing has been entered into the edit box and the mark button clicked?
Thanx for any help,

Just to be certain, is this Borland C++ or Borland C++ Builder that you're using?

have u tried MessageBox() ?? i know that is what i would do but im not using the same compiler as u...the parameters for it are: (HWND, "the message", "title bar", type of messagebox(MB_OK would be for a box with ok button)) hope that helps
