Courses
I know this is a little general, but I'm looking for online courses on programming. I think I want to learn C(C#? C++?). I know BASIC and VB and I want to move to something more powerful. I want a language that I can (eventually) write a 3d game in, and I want it portable (Linux and Windows). Where can I get lessons (with a counciler or tutor) for a small fee? Am I making the right decision with going with C, or should I use something else for what I want to accomplish? All your replies are appreciated. Thank you.
PS: Just curious: What was Unreal written in?

all games that are worth anything are written in C++. ok, maybe its 99%, but clearly C++ is the language to learn if you want to get into real game development. im not sure where you can get tutors, but if you google for 'C++ tutorial' you will find plenty out there.
