How would I make a DLL? or compile a lib

I am making some librarys (string, and I/O). I don't want the user to see the source of my code, how would I make a dll file? (MSVC .NET), or what other ways can I do this? so that the user just has to inlude <protos.h> and use my lib. Thanks

I don't have access to my .NET environment at the moment, but there should be a very clear help topic on the subject in the VS Help file. DLLs of various types are available as project types when creating a new project. You'll just need to export the functions and declare them properly, link them into the library, and you'll be ready to go.

But the HELP fill will have the specifics. I don't happen to have it in front of me.
