    token sorting question...

if im not mistaken the only white spaces are spaces, newlines and tabs. however upon compile of my token sort the compiler is recognizing '\b' as a white space as well.

    any suggestions?

    thanks in advance!

The term 'white space' refers to otherwise non-printing ASCII codes that are expected in typical text. In general, any non printing character (\b is a backspace if my memory serves) will cause problems on display. What are you using to locate your tokens? What are you trying to accomplish?
