    Number of bytes

how can i tell if how many bytes is allocated for each?

    like in example:
    Code:
    variable DB 25

    variable2 DB 0,0,0,0,8,63,63,63
is it from the data type? given that it used DB, does it mean that each had been allocated only ONE BYTE?

    Not enough information.

What programming language? C? What are the types for the variables?

    So you did... Oops.

DB is "define byte" so yes, one byte each. variable is 25, variable2 is 0, variable2+1 is 0, variable2+4 is 8, etc.
