Red face How to create new computer language like C++ or JAVA

Hi All.

I'm the newest in devshed.

As I found a bunch of information to create NEW computer language by my own.

First of all, I want you guys to check my "What to do List" below.

My LIST:
1. Check the matching list between human and computer language.
ex) A = 65 in ASCII. I will make it based on UTF-16 because I use 2byte character in my country.

2. Make my own computer Grammar.
ex) int a;

3. I will check the capacity of Hardware like capability.
ex) working in Win7, XP like that.

Those above are not completed absolutely,

And one more question : Which software will be available to make new computer language.

Can you guys join in my idiot project?

Thanks.

Best Regards,
Patrick.

Do you have something new to contribute to the many languages?
If your grammar is sufficiently simple bison and flex can parse and tokenize it.
If your language is somewhat complex (J Home) the language cannot be parsed this way because some parts of speech can return other parts of speech which is not deterministic until the program runs.
Code tags
are essential for python code and Makefiles!

You will also find a sticky on this forum that covers the subject, BTW. While many of the links are now stale, the information in the thread itself is still mostly valid.
