How to get the Console for MySQL?

Hi, I know that this isn't so much a programming question as it is software, but I remember that I had at one time a link in the MySQL folder from where all my Programs are kept in the Start Menu. However, I forgot how I managed to do this as I do not have that link in the program's folder.

I've tried to open it through the command prompt but I can't do anything there. Every time I try to do anything with MySQL it just verboses help.

Here's an example of what happens when I try to view a database:
    C:\Users\<USERNAME>>mysql -u root password <PASSWORD> VIEW mydb

      -I, --help Synonym for -?
--auto-rehash Enable automatic rehashing. One doesn't need to use
'rehash' to get table and field completion, but startup
and reconnecting may take a longer time. Disable with
(Defaults to on; use --skip-auto-rehash to disable.)
      -A, --no-auto-rehash
No automatic rehashing. One has to use 'rehash' to get
table and field completion. This gives a quicker start of
mysql and disables rehashing on reconnect.
Automatically switch to vertical output mode if the
result is wider than the terminal width.

named commands can be used from any line of the query,
otherwise only from the first line, before an enter.
Disable with --disable-named-commands. This option is

      -N, --skip-column-names
Don't write column names in results.
      --sigint-ignore Ignore SIGINT (CTRL-C).

Have you considered, you know, reading the help? To see what you're doing wrong? To see what you should be doing?

Spoiler: "-u username", "-p" to have it prompt for the password, and "USE database" once you're in.
