    coloring in C++


    hai everybody

    is there any C++ library function that can give output format COLOR. I dont want the function from CONIO.H in Borland compiler.

    have you tried ansi codes? not sure if they'll work though, might depend on your shell
    (assuming you are on a *nix based system)

    This is platform specific. If you mean, by Windows/DOS, you're developing console applications for Windows with e.g. VC++ or Dev-C++, go to the MSDN web site and look up the extensive help on console applications.

    this is . . .


    what exactly i want is :

    - create console application for DOS
    - without using Borland or VC++
    - color output from c++ library function
    - using DevC++ to compile

    Any suggestion ?
