Best Way to Create JPEG Bar and Pie Graphs?
In my application, I need to output a few bar and pie graphs as JPEG files. Does anyone know of a free library that does this? If not, any suggestions on the best way to do this (especially: how to output a JPEG file)?

I too would be interested in libraries for outputing Jpeg's and Gif's. Let me know if you find any, ryjahrman, I'll let you know if I find any. :)

Now that I think about it, I don't think either will work. JPEG would make the edges of the bars look blurry, and GIF is protected by patents. Actually, I'm thinking about doing it as a Java applet . . . I would probably make my own since I haven't been happy with the freeware graph applets I've seen.

I suggest PNG format, I know the GD libraries in PHP make really nice images for PNG, not sure about C. I'm sure you could find one.

GDI++ (from MS in VC) has support for jpg and gif (inc other types).
Search MSDN for 'Using Image Encoders and Decoders'.
also try Smaller Animals Software for their excellent library for image manupulation called ImageSource (support for comercial apps is 100%). Cost is around US$50.

Depends on the image resolution and file resolution (and drawing method ie is stretched or not).
The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the Tree of Knowledge. The subtext is, All the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. You could be in the Garden of Eden if you had just kept your f***ing mouth shut and hadn't asked any questions.

For those reading this in the future, that's actually GDI+ and not GDI++.
