I'm currently learning C, but other programming courses choose to begin with Java. Is that a good idea?
In my opinion, Java is also a good starting place. It's very easy to learn and it's versatility allows you to do everything from web design to mobile development.
I haven't tried object-oriented programming before and have only programmed in C. Once I finish my C book, I'll move on to C++ or Java.
What makes you say Java is easy to learn for beginners?
Would C++ be the better route after C?
Is int main (void) bad practice?
Sorry for the questions guys. Curious, curious.
