How to use form feed
My understanding of form feed is that if you insert \f, the next characters will be printed on a new page, just like if you insert \n, the next characters will be printed on a new line.
But I couldn't see this effect in screen output nor file output.
[code]hello<<special character that somehow got deleted when I tried to paste it here>>bye
Please show me an example where form feed is used and its effect visible.

The form feed doesn't usually do anything when used with the console or file. This was used in the olden days to force a line printer to eject a page.

Thanks, so it doesn't have much use these days?
