These problems are all too challenging without seeing your effort. Take them one at a time. #7 is easiest for me. Start with that. What are some of the defects with that program?

I concur with b49P23TIvg. Show us what you think. If you honestly have no idea about byte order or the actual size of data or the dangers of using uninitialized variables, then I most certainly would not want for you to be hired to write code. Somebody's life might one day depend on that code!

#2 is the easiest, classical logic test. Just about the only one I can do.
I've done a lot of work in Perl and shell in Unix. Scripts up to 6,000 lines. I like it best for text processing or Abstract Data Types or anything on the platform.
They want a Unix admin with some programming experience. I think these people just want to know I can handle high-level language programming. I will ask them to send me a Perl example instead of C.
Even if I got some help here, it would be entirely pointless.
I will explain to them I am not a C programmer but can do these in Perl.
