Perl developer needed
I am currently developing a banner management system called Adtekh. Originally it was written in Perl, but I decided that a PHP version would be a more suitable solution, owing to its inherent speed and ease of of use (whilst under mod_perl the perl version was very fast, most people just don't have access to mod_perl). Prior to the switch, I had a fully working advert serving engine written in Perl. Aside from a few minor bugs and a bit of clean-up work, it was ready to go - all that needed to be added was an admin centre. For the past few months this has just been sitting on my hard drive doing nothing.
Anyway, getting to the point - I wondered if anyone would be interested in taking over control of this Perl version, so that it can be offered alongside the PHP version. I would love to be able to maintain both myself, but with work and social commitments, I struggle to find time to spend on the PHP version! You would need to have a good grounding in Perl, and experience with MySQL, OOP and mod_perl. If you would be interested please drop an email to email@example.com, and we can discuss it further. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or email me.
