Anyone interested in a fun little project?

My name's Josh, I'm a 21 year old college student. Recently, a good friend of mine and I have discussed a great new concept for a computer game. The only problem is - neither one of us is very proficient in anything other than QBasic. Which is why I'm here.
I need programmers to help us bring this vision to life. Please respond if you're interested, and we'll discuss details.

- Josh

I wrote a game in QBasic...

Might help if you at least give an idea of what language/platform you're looking to use...

What kind of game?

If its 3D shoot'em up, use blender.

www.blender.org
(You'll need to find the 2.23 release since the game engine came out of the 2.25+ release)

If your looking for a space combat sim, vegastrike is written in python and all the ship/unit stats are written in XML (if you know at least a little HTML you can figure out the format)

vegastrike.sourceforge.net

If anything else, check sourceforge for already made engines and such. There are a few around.

Might help you get started and serve as a referance.
