Artist NEEDS work. How can A freelancer get more work

Well, hopefully this will help.

If you are in need of some graphics, cartooning, product illustration, or just some good old fashioned Illustration. I am your guy.

Why illustration when everybody uses stock photography, or (dare I say it) clip art. The answer is simple. If you want something that is yours and only yours. Hire the artist not the clip art Co. Just because it is a perfect cheap image for you doesnt mean it is not a perfect cheap image for your competition. I am reminded of the story of the NJ Salsa Co. who used clip art for their labeling. After a year they decided to go to a Salsa makers convention and when they arrived they found that 5 other companies were using the same art.
Hire the artist and you avoid art being sold to others.
