Smile Australasian Bird Image Database
Hi All,

I am trying to set up an image database of Australasian birds (ABID) which is interactive, allowing contributors to upload, modify, delete images and details. Last year I helped start a similar project for the Oriental Bird Club (OBC ID) (see http://www.indiabirds.com/obc) but this was written in ASP, whereas I would like the ABID to utilize PHP/MySQL.

I have created a prototype using 4Images photo-album program (http://www.aviceda.org/abid.htm) but this has severe limitations and is not too efficient.
It will be a non-commercial site but hopefully any scripts could be utilized for similar projects throughout the globe.
If anybody would be able to help me with scripts and templates I would be very grateful.

Interesting, this is the sort of thing I'm looking for, unfortunately I couldn't find PHP under Search> Language...just an oversight?
