Automounting / Launching Alias in MAC OS -Reg.

Hello All,

Can any one help me about how to launch an alias which will mount the Network File system like a remote volume from a C Code.

I had been searching the net and the apple web site for launching the alias [i.e., automounting] but Iam not getting much help.

I tried using Unix shell programming and tried various Carbon API's. I tried using ResolveAlias Option and other features such as Navigation etc.

I want the code to work for both MAC OS 9 and 10 / 10.2 ?
