Calculating bandwidth & transfer needs
Is there a guide or method to 'ball park' figure bandwidth & transfer needs...based on email accounts: sending/receiving? Many variables - but using median - on say...from 1,000 email acounts to 10,000 email accounts. Where could I find stats for that? |

Well, how much space will you offer per account?

Cuz it is a for-fee, premium service, for a niche target market, I was considering offering 100MB storage space and enable approx. up to 20 MB each for sending and receiving large messages. Nothing is decided yet. Modelled after another email service provider.
The BW part of the biz - still need to grasp mail platform stats for. Thanks for replying! ![]() |
