Help in launching a new tool
Hi,
I'm writing this in context of a tool I have developed.
Before coming to the details I can't help telling the scenario which encouraged me to develop it.
We switched from Windows to Linux a couple of months back.We were searching for a interface to interact with
a mysql database for Linux similiar to mysqlfront for Windows. After a tedious job we could not find one.
That initiated in me an idea to develop one on our own.
The name that I have conceptualised for my tool is 'MySqlFront' which is a web based interface that interacts with
any mysql database and provides many of the features a developer needs like viewing database and tables,
running and checking queries, analysing tables and DB status etc.
I find it the right place to seek help for bringing it to the developers world so that someone somewhere facing the
same situation may use it.
Pls give me suggestions as to how should I proceed.I want it to get rated on a standard scale that could encourage me to
add new features and develop other useful tools for the benefit of the web community.
