How to find the number of pages google has find on particular keyword

Hi all
When we give some keywork in google search
say "PHP", we get the page with top 10 results and a message
on the top like
"Results 1 - 10 of about 201,000,000. Search took 0.09 seconds"
I want to retrieve this number of results displayed by google
( like 201,000,000 here). Any idea how to do this in perl or C?
