Smile I need a smarter spider!

Ok, here's the scenario... I have a supplier of products who maintains a database driven website. They paid someone to develop it and its corresponding database routines, and now that it is done, they have zero tech talent on staff and can't make new pages ( read won't pay developer ).
I sell this stuff on my site and I need to know when things are discontinued or added to inventory on their site. I need to be able to basically run a spider through their site ( some 10,000 products ) every couple of days and have it spit out a tab or comma delimited file of product additions and deletions, and changes in the existing data. It is all available to me manually through their web interface, but I don't have the time to browse 1000 pages looking for changes every day!
I need to have a spider written that can run through this stuff and pipe me out a report that I can upload into my database. that will solve acres of problems for us! I looked at some of the "stock" software out there, but it just isn't geared for this sort of activity.
We are a small biz, and yes I can pay for the help.. but not through the nose! I would think a program like this would be marketable as well... keeping up with competitor pricing and what not . Have I got anybody's attention yet? HELP!!!

Can you post a link to the site you want spidered? I might be interested in pursuing this further (I love writing web spiders and I've done quite a few) but I'm solidly booked for at least the next month.
