Java 1.2 Installation on FreeBSD

I require someone to work off site installing Java 1.2 on a FreeBSD Virtual Server, plus some other bits and pieces outlined below in the tasks section. The person chosen for this project should have very good English skills, I don't care where you come from, your nationality etc but you must have an excellent grasp of the English language.

You must be easy to get hold of to discuss the project and send me regular updates as to the progress of the project, either by e-mail, MSN or ICQ.

You must also be clean in your work, I don't want a bunch of unused test installations and files left on the server after the work is complete.

I will provide you with full admin access (NOTE: This is not root access and I do not have root access) to the virtual server, the specifications can be found here: http://hosting.verio.co.uk/index.ph...sdstandard.html

The server is empty in terms of web sites etc so there is no pressure if it is taken offline, restarted etc.

The whole purpose of the Java install is so that I can get the LynkJavaProxy set up and use it to process credit card payments, that is the only use I will have for it, so I have attached the document relating to this product / service.

So the complete list of tasks I will require you to perform are as follows:

1. Install Java 1.2 on the FreeBSD Virtual Server.

2. Ensure the following has been installed so we can use the LynkProxy - Sun JSSE (Java Secure Sockets Extension) v. 1.0.1 or higher or IBMJSSE

3. Assist me with the installation and setup of the LynkProxy, most of which I should be able to perform myself but you should be available for support questions etc.

Please do not read this and think this is a simple task, it is not, I have tried and I am by no means a newbie at this stuff but I am no expert with Java either. Check into the project and make sure you can perform the tasks that are required before contacting me with the price for the complete project. I do not want hourly/daily bids and I will not consider anyone who does not contact me with a bid or at the very least further questions.
