Hello,
I'm looking for someone who is interested in helping me, and is very good at visual basic. I have a basic application which is opensource free software, and I would like to extened it to include a lot more features.
The program is for controlling theatre-style lights via DMX-512 protocol, and attaches via the printer port. However, this part is already there, I just need the Visual Basic code/forms to work with it.
I have a full version of VB6, and I can make the compiles myself if need be.
I am wanting this to be done for free within the next few weeks, and you can contact me for further details. However, I will release the code for free on my website, and will give you credit in the program. This would be a good experience for people who like programming in Visual Basic.
I am not employing you as such, but I am just using your skills to make this program. And, if I take all the source code you produce and start selling it, well, you'd have it too so you can release it. This of course would not happen
I'd like individuals, and not 'teams of people' offering to work for $5 an hour or saying visit our developer listing sites, etc.
The original source code is available
here and you can download it and play around with it, etc.
The newer version you will make will probably use sliders, progress bars, lots of arrays and/or file editing. Have a look at the original one for the base features already supplied. I want to add things like submasters (Preset A and Preset B), a more feature-rich chase system and a memory-desk style interface including cueing, etc.
I hope someone can help me,
computer
