Need Database Support added to the PHP/DBX Module
I am looking for someone to add Database Support to the PHP/DBX module for FirebirdSQL.
This should be a simple straight forward project for anyone with C experience. All the documentation you need to complete this can be found here -> http://www.guidance.nl/php/dbx/doc/ In order to do this, you would also need to be somewhat familiar with the DBX php extension functions and how the abstraction works. Here is the PHP page for this -> http://us3.php.net/dbx Also, you may need to be familiar with the ibase functions of php as you will need to piggy back this package through DBX -> http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.ibase.php The code/syntax needs to be consistent with the code/syntax that is currently used in the DBX module. Please provide pricing for this project via email - you can email me using my profile page found on this forum (go to main page of this forum, track down this thread and click my name). Thanks

Just out of curiosity, can't you just use the ibase_xx functions in PHP to connect to the firebird database?
