MMORPG, Working title: "Project Wicked", needs programmers that have C++ experience. The program will be open source, service will be an extra cost (after Beta). Little programming work is actually done, however, we have a lot of design documents and concept art and a few 3D Models. These will all be available to you after you have been accepted into the project.
Personally, I know I'd never join a project unless I knew something about it. So here's some information.
First off, this is a project made by gamers for gamers. Everyone on our team has experience in playing and critiquing games. One day we said that we could put together a better game than a lot of these out here. So working free of pressure from parent companies and/or publishers, we set out into the planning phase. This took about a year and a half to hash out all the details. But I digress, you probably want to hear about the game, not the staff

The fantasy world of Wicked has a major twist in it. Though many elements of typical fantasy shine through, there are also added elements that will set it apart and make it unique.
Some of the notable features include, but are not limited to:
- Customizable weapons: You create the feel and look of the weapons people use. But design something good, the popularity of the item will determine it's existence. If no one likes it, it will eventually go out of circulation.
- Social Structure: Depending on your wealth, actions and views you have a social status. Be careful what you do in this world... Karma will eventually give you what you deserve!
- History Of The World: An in-depth story about the history of the world. However, pieces are missing. You can choose to solve the mystery or just leave it alone and let someone else be the historian.
- Religion: Religion plays a big part in the world. Just like the real world, there are different belief systems. Join the religion you feel has everything together; or don't, the choice is up to you!
- Breeding (Still in research phase): Instead of the classic monster spawning in random places in the area, monsters breed. If you or someone else in the world decides to wipe them out of the world, that's your prerogative. However, you should realize this will have consequences! Also, characters with the breeding skill can play the part of Wildlife Protection and capture monsters and let them breed in a controlled environment.
