Exclamation Online Game, Help Wanted!

Hello,

I'm looking to form a team of 3 or 4 people interested in developing an online soccer game.

I want to do the coding in PHP with MySQL for a database. If you are interested please respond or if you have more questions.

OK, maybe that wasn't the best wording of a message, eh? Well, what I really meant was this:

Do you expect people to do this for free or are you looking to run a commercial operation and, as such, pay people for their contributions?

Also, could you maybe be a bit more specific. I presume by an "online soccer game" you mean that people choose a team, sell/buy players, just generally recreate a football (or soccer to you Americans!) league. Do you only need the backend (ie PHP & mySQL) or do you also need the site design/other content?

Thanks.

BTW, I might be willing to contribute, email me if you like!

Sorry about my 1st post, I guess I wasn't very clear on what I am looking for. Here's the answers to your questions:

I expect people to do this for free. The only revenue generated would be from banner ad's and that will be used to cover the hosting/bandwidth costs. I plan on using PHP with a MySQL database.

As for the game specifics what I have in mind is a soccer management game. Where a player manages the team they create.

One question you didn't answer was that of what had to be done:
do you already have the html done or must that be done also?

Have you planned out the game in detail also, which is evidently an important step in any software development process (god, I'm starting to sound like my computing teacher!).

Later

Jose

I know this doesn't mean anythingn per se , but this thread has been dormant for over a year. We did sort of make it, but then things just fell away I guess... Both Justin (nanocheese) and I (and whoever else was helping) just became too busy, and I guess we decided just to leave it be.

Sorry 'bout that!
