Palmistry live on screen - help!

I hope I'm not wasting your time with this, but I wouldn't really have a clue about how much it might cost to write the code. Added to that I am, not sure what code is needed. It would be good if it were easy for me to add more code by copying/amending subroutines. It's how I get by tinkering with
javascript without having to actually learn it. I know my limitations! So java, vbscript - who knows. The site can be hosted on Windows2000, or Linux based if necessary. I suspect the latter because I cant afford to pay for my server to use SQL!

I am a childrens entertainer www.wizardwonky.com I once read palms - and was always right! Not that I did any intuitive stuff, just a straight 'scientific' reading. I have yet to see a palmistry website that does it well. That is what I am after.
The site will produce a free (if only micropayments were possible!) reading for various lines, but for a small fee will produce a proper amalgamated one. It is never going to make a fortune but my philosophy has always been that ten small businesses bringing in £2000 is better and maybe more achievable than one bringing in £20,000.

There will be a faint outline of a palm with lines. The client will then either pull/stretch/move the lines to match their own - if this is possible - or will click various points and the program will then join the dots to match their lines. The program will then compare the clients line positions with the base ones and produce a reading. My inexpert way would be use cartesian coordinates and then compare as > or < for y and x. The readings, I guess, will best come from a database using multiple IFs.

Your advice on how to move forward - any advice (even the obvious - 'forget it!') would be appreciated. Thank you for reading this far!!

find somebody half-decent at FLASH and they should be able to construct this based on animated coordinates of your specific algorhythms.

I'm not a flash person so I can't help but flash-only designers are a bit wonky in the head and I'm sure one of them will figure it out.

ps - you have a very interesting website.

Hey jnorris, how's the weather in Hereford at the moment?? I'm originally from Swindon but haven`t been home in a while.

Anyway, I just thought I would bring it to your attention, you mentioned the following comment 'If only micropayments were possible'

Well they are! There are a number of services popping up offering micropayment system, run a search on google.com and you will find some services.

THnaks for replies and comments. Micropayments - I cannot find any! One company wants a £1500 (!!) start up fee, another has a £1 minimum - and so it goes. If you know of an actual one that lets me charge pennies without a ludicrous start up fee that would be great!!
I guess I'm going to have to learn Flash!!

http://www.cashcade.co.uk/ is one, I don't know of the prices though.

http://www.metacharge.com/ rates are a lot more reasonable than the £1500 you mentioned.

http://corp.ymogen.net/

http://www.glpayment.co.uk/ Offer a free setup service.

http://www.paystone.com/ $0.25 upwards

http://www.netsecurepay.com/en/index.html

And many many more, like I said, search google.

You posting the same reply on every ****ing thread is starting to get annoying. Start your own thread (oh yes, you did that too) and don't post again unless someone is asking for a place to put projects or if you have something constructive advice to offer. Zeus, I'd seriously consider banning this person.
