pleas help me out with this python proj

I have just started with a python project and i dont know how to go about it.

could anyone pls help me out in this project.

there is a list of events to read from a one or more files and print them out in the format given below with the commmand line parameters as specified:

INPUT:

Today is 2003-09-02.
Go fishing next Tuesday.
Meet with research students every Thursday at 2 p.m.
Lecture CS 272 on Tuesdays and on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. until 2:15 p.m.
Board meeting first Tuesday every month.
Shareholders meeting first Tuesday of January.


The following output would be obtained if the program is run as follows:

python your-program.py -us -start 2003-09-01 -end 2003-09-30

date time range detail
2003-09-02 today’s date
2003-09-04 14:00 Meet with research students.
2003-09-09 Go fishing
2003-09-11 14:00 Meet with research students.
