Search Engine

I am currently running a search engine site (see link in my sig). I do all the programming and stuff, all i need is someone that can advertise the site. Do it however you want, just advertise it.
Unfortunatly, this is totally my own site, and lets admit it, i am no way going to pay anyone, therefore the only form of payment i can think of is your name at the bottom of the page. Anyone interested write me an email , or reply to the post.

See, I would gladly plug your search site if one thing happened: it had one more catagory: Web Log (AKA: Blog)

Even Yahoo Internet Life said it, you cant find blogs on search engins.

So, if you add that catagory I'll gladly plug your site on mine.

what is blog?

A blog is short for web log. A web log is like an open journal/diary/log of events. Sometimes more than one people can post on a blog, other times it's just the owner.

Heres a few example sites:

1. BAMF
2. Hear Ye!
3. Zoko Siman
4. UDink
5. The White 'Ty' Affari
6. Neoflux

Some blogs have content, like mine for example: I have the user submitted quote, and funny pictures.

Read a few blogs and follow the links and you'll get a better understanding of what a blog is I think =)

Instead of requiring a webpage to have meta tags, why not instead, just check to see if it has them and if it does use those desciptions and keywords, and if it doesnt then you let the submitter fill out some form for the meta tags.

The reason I say this is because I tried to add 2 sites (so far) and I couldnt do it because of their lack of meta tags.

Just a suggestion =) Other than that I like your site, it looks nice.

i have done everything u have suggested, now if you dont have a meta tag it asks you for one, and there is a web log section. Once i get enough sites added to the database i will add the category to the main page
