==Wake sites waiting in the wings==

Hi all,

My name is Nick.

I've been an avid internet user since the late 90's but got into it even further from 2002. I've spent about 3 years [part-time] masterminding a series of website ideas. In that time ive seen some uncanny ideas [youtube] rock the world, which is nice for them i wish i hadnt thought so complex.

there is a site i am quite proud of, it was made after about 3 months getting stuck into flash, its my GE:S clan website [only downside i never finished it because the mod itself died down] == will show when i can post url! ==

My resolve
Initially, i was very eager to accomplish the back-end and front-end of my own endevours myself - so i set about learning Photoshop and html. The thing is, i dont have a degree in the field, and truely mastering every aspect of web development only comes from a formal education, which i cannot and would prefer not cost myself being i am mid 20's already.

I have the moxy to bring revolutionary and solid ideas, thoughts/perspectives, content and a lesser expertise in the web design field - that being webmaster role, of which i accomplished for years with small sites and gaming clans. I also have a lick of experience with the kind of modding seen on moddb.com and i currently run two growing crysis productions in what spare time i have.

Here is a brief idea of what i am looking for here [but i can be flexible if I am impressed by individuals not meeting a criteria], however :

An accomplished web developer either nearing or just completed their degree in a web development field.

emphasis on :

- standalone PHP websites using database [for linux hosting]
- mysql standalone forum system [created from a criteria list]
- knowledge of browser compatibility and markup
- good security methods and advice
- Photoshop competence or above
- Flash knowledge
- can achieve the entire visual and back-end goal
- focus on integration to/between websites like veoh, myspace/facebook and youtube with contents
- the aim of success in non corporate endevours

The way i plan to work the arrangement, is this prospective partner will work in spare time or devote a greater time (if not on the job market yet) to creating a flexible template website structure which I can then modify and replicate for the various websites

payment? two options

1. contractual :
Depending on my own employment cash flow future, i am willing to give between 100 and 200$ a week for a 10+ hour a week until completion, but of course that is a reflection of the results i see weekly

2. share system :
Aim to get more involved in the process and ideas of the site, and for sparing payment rewards until the site shell is complete and progress on content can be bug-free. From there they can break off no commitment, and secure a 5% profit share forever of each site revenue even if they dont participate from the time they submit me the package.

Of course that will go to more like 25% to start if they become a full partner with me on these endevours. (never know you might like me and what im trying to do)

And here are the synopsis of the website ideas i have vast details and content on in a series of notepad files on my HD and webspace

Celebrity site

This website will be geared to an audience 18+. It will incorporate movie stars and their movies, music, sport and entertainment stars and pornstar category with the same all around. Each section will be stocked with reviews and ways you can get your hands on more of whats behind the content, and an easily navigatable forum for each of the people. [think imdb except much more diversely showcasing stars, and still being interactive and web 2.0]

Mod competition community

This website will be for competition in modding, what moddb is for modding itself.

Basically, mods that are good for competing in online will have this website primarily involved in orgasnising for them good leagues worldwide. E-sport focus with video archives, shoutcasting, mod reviews and focuses, community forum, clan hosting, etc etc will hub from this site.

[I plan to backbone its winnings finances with profits from an ebay thing i have going for selling voice talent recordings of mine.] Then bring in sponsorship with the growing of the whole thing

Well that is 2 of my key ones i am heavily ready to set loose, and i have about 10 more that i would prefer not devulge here, waiting to find a talented partner i trust and have faith in to be fair and goal-orientated, as i am in myself.
