wanted: VB script for QuickTime and Flash detection

I am creating a CD that needs an exe file to determine whether a user's computer has QuickTime and Flash installed or not. Doesn't matter which version of QT or Flash, but the CD needs to have both Flash & QuickTime installed for it to run properly.

This is how it will flow:

On launching this EXE file, the script will firstly test for QuickTime. If the user's computer doesn't have Quicktime, a message appears saying "You need QuickTime to view this CD. Click OK to install." and then clicking the OK button automatically launches "installs/quicktimefullinstaller.exe" from the CD. After this file has been launched, another message appears saying "After QuickTime installation is complete, Click OK to continue", along with an "OK" button

Next, the same process will apply for Flash. After the QuickTime detection is complete, the script then test for Flash. If the user's computer doesn't have Flash installed, a message appears saying "You need Macromedia Flash to view this CD. Click OK to install." and then clicking the OK button automatically launches from the CD. After this file has been launched, another message appears saying "After Flash installation is complete, Click OK to continue", along with an "OK" button which then launches "index.htm" in the CD's root directory.

This is a very urgent project and needs to be done sometime this week. I'm assuming that it would be a fairly easy job to do - I'm willing to pay by PayPal half now and half on completion.

Please reply to this thread with you email address and we can correspond more efficiently.

Many thanks,
Awbrys

I am sure that QT and Macromedia have programs that do this.
