We Have A Lot Of Work!!!
Like the title says we have a lot of work and need GOOD, RELIABLE, RESPONSIBLE, and Sincere help!! We don't have a lot of money but we are doing the best we can.
We have had too many "I can do it's" and "I want this much upfront to start" and now we are broke with nothing finished and/or completed, and yes we paid upfront and even have things that are not started after 3 months. We have been more than fair and we have been bending over for the soap too many times and time for us to try another route before proceeding any further and getting burned more. We have a site located here www.small-sports.com and it is a site centered around a baseball and soccer game, and soon there will be hockey as well. We need a ladder and tournament script we purchased completely reworked to fit out needs, as it isn't even close to being what we need in it's present state. We need a ticket generator that will produce tickets and keep them logged in an area that will tell us what and how much value of the tickets are outstanding, who generated the ticket, what it was generated for(radio button with 3-5 choices), and tell us not been redeemed yet along with a ticket redemption center that will log the user who redeemed the tickets and their total value for purchasing prizes and give the balance due, if any to be paid via paypal. We need a macro or jave type script that will also self generate games for us via a login panel and list but this will take some more detailed explaining and is not as high on the priority list as the above items. All items need to be run through one data base so one login is required and access is available to all areas. The above work is just the beginning of the projects we want done. Thanks! And waiting impatiently for replies ![]() |

My firm would be glad to discuss the details but there is one catch, we will not do work up front, on spec or anything like that. it's either 50% up front and 50% on delivery or 100% up front. We'll be glad to discuss and talk concepts with you but when it's time to go to work is when that applies.
Interested still? PM me or view my website at http://www.angry-lizard.com |

Yeah same deal as the others, we are not looking for anything free, nor are we interested in getting burned again as well. This go around we are interested in doing whatever as long as we have have something to show for it and something binding as well for our own safety and well being and a way to go back at someone through the proper channels.
We have been foolish enough to pay for this too many times and still sitting where we were previously. i will be pm'ing you as I have the others, first that can do it and with the right time frames, references that can be verified, price, and binding agreement will get the jobs and there are many to do. |

Dear Sir / Madam,
I recently noticed your request for a professional coder on the Devshed forums. I have had a number of years experience with PHP / MySQL / HTML / JavaScript, with Java and Perl being added soon. I have been involved in advanced Research and Development work with PHP / MySQL over the last two years, in the fields of security and user management. The most significant body of work that I have done to this stage is in implementing e-commerce solutions, however I have a substantial body of work which has been designed for internal networks. It is unfortunate that you have had poor experiences with previous freelance programmers. My development team and I work hard to develop healthy relationships with our clients, and the result has been that we have never had any project run over time or over budget, in fact many of them have been under budget or delivered ahead of time. We request one third up front payment, with the balance on delivery of final code, however given your described financial situation, we are willing to negotiate variations to that stance. We have referees available upon request. If I sound like a useful addition to your team, or if you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, Carl Jongsma Jongsma & Jongsma Pty. Ltd. Sûnnet Beskerming Pty. Ltd. info@skiifwrald.com |

We are an Indian based web development company. Visit our site www.anteriorsoft.com for more details about services.
We would be interested on working on this project on task wise payment basis. We will give a list of tasks and cost for each task and as soon as the task is done you need to pay the agreed payment for the task. Then we will start the next task. Let me know if this is interesting to you |

Thank you both for the replies.
It is nice to see that we are getting some interest in this area and hope this works out well for us and who ever gets this all this work as well. |

Frank, my past dealings with angrylizard prove that he is not someone that people who are looking for a good relationship with their freelancer would want to work with.
He is very demanding, and very agressive. You as the client have requested him to do YOUR work. He often does not respect that. You can find so many other freelancers who know how to treat a customer right. If you cant find one here, my dealings around the web have proven that SitePoint.com has a great trading post / marketplace. Good luck to you.

Thanks, but after meeting with our people he was not anxious to work with us due to the negativity they had especially when asked to provide something to see that was there other than their own web site. That is fine as we are off with someone else and they are underway with a good start and more than a fair price and agreement.
Thanks for the info but I was willing and ready to go and couldn't get an estimate or anything from them because they needed more info but had enough for the other one when they dclined the work. I think we will do fine with our selection now ![]() |

Well, I will ask them to post here if you wish Isaac! That's when JR started to get antsy was with what you had for him to see and he said it was your home page, and Mater was over the price issues, which I agreed with you like I said above, you did not have all the information laid out in order for you to interpret what we wanted in order to quote.
I never received any price from you on anything or any type of an estimate either. The ticket generator script had all the information required to start that project and we discussed that the night before after the meeting. Then you said you did not want to work with the negativity that they showed and projected. It really was more skepticism on there part as I explained to you and even posted in here the cause of it. If any of this is not correct please let me know and I will have them state their views as well. I believe I have all this pretty straight and factual, I was not critical of you at any time even the part of turning the business down completely which I understood. The people that we did go with had nothing more than was given to you, and presented a quote and have one section done with additional enhancements over and above what we asked for and will have the tournament section done in a few days as well. The ticket generator will be last and we should have all of this tested and completed before mid August and opened up for all the members to enjoy! |

I am glad that you found some GREAT people to work with. You made a wise choice. As you can see, angrylizard is not someone you want to invest your company/business into. Good luck to you! |

LOL Well if you catch what I said I was ready to go with them!
To be honest they did aask enough questions and showed enough concern over the project to ask a lot of questions to make sure they were on the right track. They didn't like the concern and attitudes of the others in the group as I described and they decided to move on without us. Like I told Isaac if he thought they were rough, he is in for a rude awakening down the road. Being in business with all the different personalities and cultures is hard especially in sales, and I have been doing that for 28 years. Getting into a situation and getting a good chewing out by a customer, or meeting customers with harsh attitudes are a common occurance in the business world. Survival dictates that you learn how to work around individuals like that and gain their confidence or your income is going to be very minimal. "The Art Of Salesmanship, is the art of persuassion". I was told that many, many years ago and I have found that to be very true! You have to gain a customers confidence and trust in order to succeed, which requires removing all the barriers and obstacles between you and the customer, a very big important first step for success. In the future of web design, it will become more and more important to adhere to what I said above as it will come into play more often than not. This business is still in it's infancy and is growing at a rapid pace. As more and more people enter this field, work will become harder to find and that's where the good business people will succeed and survive. |

We as a business experiencing no struggle in keeping afloat with satisfied customers are in a position to decline working with people we dont like. It's our company and weather or not you may not agree with me, we seem to be doing fine, only dealing with customers we like and whom with we can feel a trusting relationship. we are not in the business of serving customers we do not feel like dealing with. sorry, if your business life has been so hard and ridden with grouchy customers you were stuck with, but I'm in no position to need that kind of business and so thats how things go. maybe i won't make as much money as the next guy but thats not the important part. the important part is being happy with what we do as well as whom we work with and that is why why we started this company and why the clients we do decide to work with always end up glad to have worked with us.
I'm glad to hear your project is going well. And ubuu, like i said... you're in bad need of some kind of a hobby. Quote:
