You either choose asp crap, or you choose php gold. Not both.

If you're looking for asp (you're probably not), then find a windows server.

If you're looking for php (good idea), then find a linux/unix/solaris/bsd host.

how come you cant have asp and php? is asp only for windows?

Obi Wonton is implying that ASP is far inferior to PHP (which it is by the way).
PHP and MySQL are typically found on Unix-based systems.

However, I do run a private Apache webserver with PHP and MySQL on my Windows macine when testing my webscripts.
