XML Programmer needed for Chat
I am looking for an XML programmer who can impliment the XML with ActionScript to form a chat.
There is currently me, I do the Flash and Actionscript stuff, techcode who does the Perl code for storing usernames + passwords in a mySQL database, and hopefully you to help us program in XML. This is free, however when the project is completed all of the materials will be given to each of us for our own use of the chat.

Maybe I don't have a clue but I think XML isn't something you need to know for this. You probably know html, basically the same, and all you need is for the perl to output the tags. I made a flash chat program and chose not to use xml as I thought it would take more transfer time/ bandwidth than loadvariables().

What language did you learn? And how did you make the event fire right when data was sent to the server so it would be "real time"?

Well the one I made was PHP MYSQL and Flash. As for being real time I guss it was a little slower than that.
