What sort of software would you be developing? Could you provide more details about what you want to do with this site? Is it already underway (URL maybe?), do you already have software in development? What sort of software is currently being planned, etc? Is it pay or volunteer?

I have strong perl skills (and could quickly pick up PHP if necessary) in both Windows and *nix environments, as well as 2 years' ongoing experience as an Intranet admin/developer in my current position. I am also familiar with both MySql and Apache httpd. I may be interested in helping depending on exactly what it is you're doing.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Forgive me for the rushed post. I must indeed explain further.

As i said we will be developing internet software, such as news scripts, perhaps a CMS, member management systems and so on.

Our first planned script will be an XML news script. Basically it will be a simple news script that allowes a user to publish multiple news stories across multiple sites using an XML Database and only one instance of the program.

The work at this time is volunteer, however if you help develop a program that is payed for, you will recieve fair share of the
    payment.

Perl is a good language to know, but i believe that PHP is both more usefull and more wide spread in the web development environment.

I have purchased a site and hosting, howevewr i am still working on the design.

Thanks for your interest. Any further questions please e-mail them to me.
