Really need some help with YouTube etc APIs
Hello and thanks for looking,
We are putting together an application that will help content creators. You can find out about the goals of the app here myunity.co.uk, however, the programmer has explained that he will need to learn how to create the analytics because he currently doesn't know how.
We really need some help and so wondered if anyone might be able to weigh in and help us get the analytics working, even if it is just advice so our programer can understand what he needs to do.
If you want to get involved and join us then there will absolutely be a place for you now and for the future. We are building a business and so this could become something that you do.
What I really want is to create a complete analytics using information from youtube, facebook, twitch, twitter etc to create an all in one place to get the information about your online growth. If that means creating them over a period of time and then once complete, taking the relevant information and creating a single display then that is great. This isn't a race to finish but we want the right product that works properly when we are finished.
Thanks again for looking, contact me here or through the Unity website.

Maybe you should explain why you need the dailymotion username/password to signup.

The programmer I am working with is inexperienced and is learning as we go. He couldn't work out how to create an integrated page that let you log in to your accounts so that you can post your videos from within the app. His solution was to request the sign in details at registration. I want there to be a registration for the app, then a rigourous sign up page that allows you to link as many accounts as you have to our software so that you can post to as many sites as you like directly from the app. There are other things he just doesn't know how to do, like the analytics but he is keen, willing to learn and young, I do not want to make him feel like he isn't doing well as I think he will be an amazing asset to the business in the future. I also like his attitude of 'can do' and want to nurture that. Any advice you can give will be amazing. If you understand the apis and have a little time to talk with him it would help us no end.

You keep saying you need help with analytics - in the sense of data collection and manipulation, but it also sound like you are looking for a senior programmer or similar.
That said, you programmer is able to read an API (e.g. https://developer.dailymotion.com/) and use it to send or collect information?
Learning new things does take time, and willingness to learn is no doubt a good start.
Unfortunately, I don't have the time to help you to get deeper into your project.
