    cc problem


    hi
    i am begnner in python and try to create an interface between c++ & python23 using swig it gives following error...
    when i run command "python setup.py build -cmgwin32"

    running build

    I havent used cygwin in some time, but ...

    cc is an alias for gcc the GNU version of the compiler - check that gcc is installed on your path. Edit the make file to use gcc or recreate the alias.

    error: command 'cc' failed: No such file or directory
    You either don't have cc or it isn't in your PATH.

    (see: control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables -> advanced -> PATH -> 'edit' -> add a ; and the path to cc).
