current version of python
where can i purchase or download the most current
version of python, i have 1.5.2 but "idle" would not work on my Me os,could i get some suggestions,please.

You can get Python from a few locations although Python.org (Pythons home page) is a great place to start. Python is available for free! The current version is 2.3
 You could also check out: download.com PythonWorks/PythonWare ActiveStates ActivePython Other Python Distributions Idle is a nice, free, Python editor but there are some nicer ones  .
