Hello,

I've been trying to use Scorpy's guide to ADO ( http://www.mayukhbose.com/python/ado/index.php ) to run a stored procedure on a SQL server and get a row number back (insert a value then tell me which row it was inserted into).

Then I've tried to convert this article:
http://authors.aspalliance.com/stevesmith/articles/sprocs.asp

to Python/COM.

It works in VBScript as given there, but when I try to use a stored procedure with an OUTPUT variable from Python, I never get any value out again. It runs the stored procedure fine, but I either get "None" or the value I put in, or a crash, depending.

Has anyone managed to do this? Get a value from an OUTPUT parameter of a stored procedure on SQL server using COM/ADO?
Any tips or suggestions?

Google, Google Groups and trial and error have all got me nowhere so far...
