    Hello!

Which distribution of python is better? I mean there are at least 2 distributions: from python official site and Activestate. Which is better?

Can't comment on activestate as I don't know what it is.

But for compatibility and stability issues I read somewhere awhile ago that

2.1.3 from python.org is what is reccomended though I maybe wrong?

But I have'nt had any issues using it yet.

Actually, 2.2.2 is the recommended release right now. I use the one from python.org (actually, the one that's in Debian, basically the same) and it works fine.
Debian - because life's too short for worrying.
    Best. (Python.) IRC bot. ever.
